Double Fold Journal

This leather bound book project is one of our highest recommended project for the first time leather worker. This project is inexpensive to build and very easy for someone learning basic techniques. Each book is scalable from 50 to 250 pages with little effort up front. Unlike our normal book projects this version offers more protection to the papers within.


 
Crossbow Pistol Bolt Pouch

This is a simple hip style crossbow pistol bold pouch. This pouch will allow for many many bolts to be stored at arms reach for quick access. The construction is suede but stiffer leathers will work as well.


 
Coin Purse

Here is a very simple project that seems to make it into many a fantasy campaign. Of course it starts with the rouge in the team going off to get some loot swiping a little coin, and thusly embroiling the entire party in a fight that only ends poorly for the honest fool who lost his coin. So maybe you don’t want to use this in public… you may unwittingly invite a visit from a passing rouge


 
Simple Rapier Frog

This is the pattern for a very simple rapier frog. Made from a heavy 10 oz leather it can be shaped, stamped and dyed to your hearts content.


 
Basic Bedroll

This basic Bedroll project is a must for any overnight adventurer. Simple to construct and can be attached to backpacks, or add a couple rings and a strap for an over the shoulder setup. Regardless of how much use it gets, it has a classic look that is sure to complete any adventurer’s ensemble.

 
Basic Greaves

This pattern is for greaves with a high armor value. This patterns if both easy to make and easy to modify for any use you may have. Using 16 ounce leather they provide excellent protection from both slashing and smashing blows yet don’t become to encountering in use.

 
Basic Suede Hip Pouch

There will always be a need to keep some items closer to the hilt of your sword then other so long as rouges are abroad in the land(sigh… what the hell is wrong with me? Rouges? Sigh…). But seriously this suede leather hip pouch is a sure hit to keep things close at hand.

 
Basic Suede Leather Backpack

This all suede leather travel pack is a great addition to any adventurers gear. Made from 4-6 ounce suede its flexible and comfortable for the long haul but durable enough for regular use. One of our favorite things about this pattern is its ability to be modified with ease. The pattern is for a no frills suede leather backpack, but as you can see from the pictures with a few carefully placed holes and some good leather lace you can accessorize this backpack to your heart’s content.

 
Simple Leather Arms

These leather arms are easy to make and very stylish. Sometimes called rerebrace or vambrace these articulated arms fully protect the lower arm, elbow and upper arm with a fully enclosed style. This pattern can be made from 8-12 ounce leather and heavier with little modification due to its simple construction.

 
Simple Leather Spaulders

These leather spaulders are easy to make and highly articulated for maximum movement. These articulated spaulders protect the shoulders and outside of the upper arm. This pattern can be made from 8-14 ounce leather or steel and heavier thicknesses with little modification due to its simple construction.

Basic Scroll

For those looking for a little more authentic look for their portable written medium this scroll is the perfect fit. Using minimal resources of leather and constructed simply with scissors and a hole punch its sure to please. Ideally suited for 10-25 pages, this is a great first modification project as you can ultimately shape the paper and size of this project very easily to your needs.

 
Basic Half Gauntlet

This basic half gauntlet combines the protection of bracers with articulated protection for the top of your hand without impeding your freedom of movement. Using a simple leather strap to secure it around your palm it will not get in the way of even the largest sword in your hand. Easy to construct and looks very fashionable.
