The costs for this project is relatively fixed due to its straight forward and simple design. The only real variable cost would be the thickness of the leather you chose to use. You can use any leather for these and get the desired visual effect, so for stage work it’s a cheap good looking prop. With a good veg died side you can also tool the leather as you desire with great ease.

Most browsers won’t support an image of the size of the actual life sized armor pattern here. To save the pattern, right click the image of the pattern you want a copy of and save click “save target as” to save a copy on your computer.
Once you have your saved copy of the pattern you can print it in multiple pages and tape them together or you can take them to Kinko’s and get them printed on their large format printers for 5-10 dollars.
